New gas shutdown schedule enforced in Karachi

Meanwhile, unannounced gas outages and low pressure have been reported in several neighborhoods.

KARACHI: The authorities have implemented a gas load shedding schedule in various parts of Karachi, causing disruptions for residents during key hours of the day.

According to sources, gas supply will remain suspended from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and again from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in multiple areas of the city.

Additionally, officials from Sui Southern Gas Company(SSGC) stated that gas will also be shut off at night from 10:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

Meanwhile, unannounced gas outages and low pressure have been reported in several neighborhoods. Areas including FB Area and North Nazimabad faced disruptions, particularly during morning hours, leaving residents struggling with routine activities.

Gas supply was also affected in Malir, Khokhrapar, Landhi, Orangi Town, and North Karachi, while load shedding was reported in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Nazimabad, Garden, and Liaquatabad, adding to public inconvenience.
