The Sindh government is introducing a program to support agricultural education by providing interest-free loans to students at the Agricultural University Tando Jam. Announced by Agriculture Minister Sardar Bakhsh Mehr, the initiative aims to ease financial burdens and encourage students to start agricultural businesses.

Minister Mehr also highlighted the impact of climate change on agriculture and stressed the importance of investing in the education of young agricultural students to ensure future resilience and sustainability.
The Agricultural University Tando Jam’s Department of Agriculture will manage the loan distribution, reflecting the government’s dedication to enhancing agricultural education and supporting young talent.
Additionally, the government is developing the “Hari Card” project to further support farmers and agricultural students.
