Reflecting on the transformative year, the actor shared, “The year might be ending, but a lot of good beginnings have happened. It feels like a new life when you finally feel accepted by the audience. Suddenly your signature becomes your autograph, your admirers become your fans.”
Abhay, who has transitioned from commercials to becoming a brand ambassador, described the year as “dreamy.” He noted, “Within the industry, Abhay Verma might not have had that value which now Abhay Verma the artiste has. The fact that I don't need to introduce myself now is just a great feeling.”
The actor revealed a challenging moment just days before Munjya’s release. “Three days before release, I had only ₹1200 in my account. I called my best friend back home, wondering how I’d manage. But everything panned out. I always knew Munjya was going to shift gears for me, be it the second gear or reverse.”
Abhay also shared advice from filmmaker Imtiaz Ali: “Imtiaz sir said... just take that acceptance, but don’t let it go over your head.”
Looking ahead, he expressed hope to work with his idol, Shah Rukh Khan: “Everything I do is influenced by him... my career is an ode to him.”
