'Smallville' star Tom Welling arrested for alleged DUI in California parking lot

Actor Tom Welling, best known for portraying Clark Kent in Smallville, was reportedly arrested this week in Yreka, California, on a DUI charge. According to TMZ, the Cheaper by the Dozen star was taken into custody in an Arby’s parking lot shortly after midnight on Monday.

Authorities from the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office released Welling’s mugshot, revealing his blood alcohol level was at or above 0.08%, exceeding the legal limit.

The arrest came shortly after Welling had publicly celebrated his wife Jessica Rose Lee’s birthday. Just a day before, he shared a heartfelt Instagram post, writing, “Happy Birthday to our Angel who makes our dreams come true and inspires us even more! We love you to the moon and back!”

Welling, 47, has been married to Jessica since 2019, and the couple shares two sons, Thomson Wylde and Rocklin Von. In October, Welling marked the 23rd anniversary of Smallville alongside co-star Michael Rosenbaum and screenwriter Miles Millar.
