KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department said on February 28 that the young patient infected with coronavirus is improving and will be shifted to his home after the completion of the quarantine period.

According to the details, the health department said that the patient has been in Pakistan since the past eight days.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza said that the tests of the family and friends of the two infected patients came back negative.

The assistant to PM, Dr Zafar Mirza said that the acquaintances are safe.

Earlier on Wednesday, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for Health Dr Zafar Mirza said that one case of Corona virus has been reported in Sindh while the other has been reported in the federal capital.

The first case of the deadly coronavirus in Pakistan has been reported in Karachi’s private hospital, a spokesperson for the Sindh Health Department confirmed.
