Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas promised that the Middle East Peace Plan proposed by US President will “not pass”. He said that the plan aimed to end the Palestinian cause.

Mahmoud Abbas held a press conference in the Occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.

He said, “After the nonsense that we heard today, we say a thousand no’s to the ‘Deal of The Century’,”

Mahmoud Abbas said that Palestinians are ambitious to ending the Israeli occupation and forming a state with a capital in East Jerusalem.

He also said that they will not surrender and will not kneel. However, he also assured that they will resist the plan through peaceful measures.

Senior Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya said, “We are certain that our Palestinian people will not let these conspiracies pass. So, all options are open. The [Israeli] occupation and the US administration will bear the responsibility for what they did,”

Protests were arranged in several areas. Protestors were seen burning photos of Trump and Israeli Prime Minister.

UAE’s ambassador to Washington said the plan, “offers an important starting point for a return to negotiations within a US-led international framework”.

However, Iran rejected the plan and called it “a plan of imposition and sanctions”.

Heameddin Ashena, an advisor to Iran’s President said, “This is a deal between the Zionist regime (Israel) and America. Interaction with Palestinians is not on its agenda. This is not a peace plan but a plan of imposition and sanctions.”
