China has approved human testing of two COVID-19 vaccines s to contain the coronavirus pandemic, Chinese media reported on Today.

According to the state news agency Xinhua, Beijing-based unit of Sinovac Biotech developed two vaccines in collaboration with Wuhan Institute of Biological Products under the affiliation of state-owned China National Pharmaceutical Group.

The coronavirus has killed over more than 125,018 people around the planet.

Deadly COVID-19 has reached every corner of earth and restricted the half of the population to their homes.

The maximum cases of coronavirus have been reported in the United States. The death toll rises to 25,143 while the total number of infected people is 603,059.

Earlier on April 11, The US has become the first country to report more than 2,000 deaths in just 24 hours.

According to the figures presented by Johns Hopkins University, there are more than half a million confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country whereas 2,108 people have died in a single day. The US is likely to surpass Italy as the country with most deaths.
