- UAE and Uzbekistan signed a new agreement for visa-free travel.
- UAE citizens with valid passports can visit Uzbekistan for 30 days visa-free.
- This aims to ease travel, boost ties, and encourage cultural exchange.
The memorandum states that UAE nationals with passports that have at least six months remaining on them are eligible to enter Uzbekistan without a visa. UAE nationals can now visit Uzbekistan for up to 30 days at a time without the prior requirement for an electronic visa.
In exchange, holders of biometric passports belonging to Uzbek citizens would have the ability to enter the United Arab Emirates without a visa, whether they are traveling abroad or returning home.
With the Memorandum, travel will be easier for nationals of all participating countries and is a significant step towards improved diplomatic and travel connections between the two countries. It is anticipated that this development would promote more cross-cultural communication and collaboration in a variety of contexts.
