ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Protection & Poverty Alleviation and Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) chairperson Dr Sania Nishtar said on Friday that ‘Ehsaas webpage for Parliamentarians’ will be launched soon.

According to the details, She was talking to a delegation of ten women MPAs from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, who were briefed on Prime Minister’s flagship programme ‘Ehsaas’.

She also said, through ‘Ehsaas webpage for Parliamentarians’ federal and provincial stakeholders will be able to take an active part in the execution of Ehsaas programmes.

She said this app would be launched mainly for educating the citizens about different schemes of multi-pronged `Ehsaas programme’ which is aimed at reducing inequalities, invest in people and lift lagging district.

The Special Assistant shared that Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed all the Cabinet Ministers to visit ‘Panahgah’ and ensure that nobody stays shelter less and hungry in this extreme cold weather. Adding further, she shared, “Ehsaas is committed to ensure that ‘Panahgah’ serve the needy and poor across the country.” The people, labourers and needy travellers living in the ‘Panahgah’, were happy to find Dr. Nishtar among them.

PM Imran to launch Ehsaas Program for poor worth 180 b

Earlier in November, 2019 Prime Minister Imran Khan has received a detailed briefing regarding the formulation of National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) under the “Ehsaas” program at PM Office Islamabad today.

As per the details, in the meeting, the Prime Minister said that Ehsaas Program is the flagship program of the current government. It aims to eradicate poverty, provide education, food and health care

He said that a self-registration drive will also be launched to benefit from the Ehsaas Program.
