The global death toll from the COVID-19 has mounted, according to the statistics more men are becoming more seriously infected and dying than women from the coronavirus.

In the United States the death toll of men from the Coronavirus is higher twice than women.

According to Oxford University professor Philip Goulder, a theory states that women have two X chromosomes while Men have only one.

Therefore, it may be one of the reasons that women have  stronger immune system, which improves their ability to fight with the virus.

Another possible cause could be the difference of habits and lifestyle between women and men.

As smoking tobacco is often more common among men than women, which caused cancer, heart and lung diseases and these diseases affect the ability to fight with the virus.

Although the death toll of men from the COVID-19 is slightly higher than women but everyone is at on risk including the young and children.
