Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Peshawar project will be completed till March 2020, projected Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information Shaukat Yousafzai.
The provincial information minister ruled out the propaganda of surge in the cost of the BRT Peshawar.
He said that the total cost of the Bus Rapid Transit Peshawar project is Rs. 34 billion.
He has challenged the critics to expose corruption in the BRT project.
As per Shaukat Yousafzai, the civil work of the Bus Rapid Transit Peshawar project completed and the project to get completed by March 2020.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan directed back on May 12th, 2019 to work day and night and complete the Peshawar BRT project.
On the other hand Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) decided to take more time from Peshawar High Court (PHC) to complete the investigation into Bus Rapid Transit Peshawar.
A statement of different officials of the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) recorded in the investigation so far.
Moreover FIA recorded statements of the local bodies and others.
But some of the departments refrain from offering technical support in the investigation.
