Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday has offered heartfelt condolences on the behalf of President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on the sad demise of Oman’s Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said.
On the direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has invited Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq Al Said to visit Pakistan.
He condoles with Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq Al Said during a meeting.
In a tweet on social networking website Twitter, the foreign minister praised Sultan Qaboos and said that he a great man.
He further prayed for the peace of the departed soul.

Yesterday, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrived in Saudi Arabia on Monday after completing his Iran visit.
Earlier on Sunday, FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi met Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in Tehran amid Iran-US tensions.
However, the foreign minister said that Pakistan will not join any war in the region.
But, it will continue to play a vibrant and positive role for establishment of lasting peace.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in a Twitter statement on Monday reiterated Pakistan will not allow its soil to use for any war.
“Constructive & positive meeting with H.E President Hassan Rouhani. Reiterated effort to deescalate tensions to the President which he supports,” he said.
“We are committed to exercising every diplomatic effort to achieve regional security & are clear Pakistan soil will not be used for war.”
