German State Minister for Foreign Affairs calls on COAS

General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) called on Minister of State of the Federal Foreign Office Germany, Mr. Niels Annen at General Headquarters GHQ Rawalpindi.

According to the Inter-Services public relations (ISPR), both the dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interests of the country and regional security in the meeting.

Mr. Niels Annen appreciated Pakistan’s role for ensuring peace and stability in the region and reiterated to take measures to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields.

COAS Bajwa meets ambassadors of Iran and China

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Armed Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa strongly condemned the Quetta blast and expressed deep grief and sorrow over the incident.

According to the DG ISPR, Chief of Armed Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa stated “every possible assistance be given to police & civil administration. Those who targeted innocents in a mosque can never be true Muslim.”
