Rana Sanaullah demands fair trial in drug smuggling case

Pakistan Muslim League (N) Leader Rana Sanaullah while addressing the national assembly session on Friday has demanded fair trial.

He said being a Pakistani citizen, its my right to demand a fair trial.

the PML-N leader told on January 1, he’s traveling to participate in the party meeting when he stopped and arrested.

The investigation officer didn’t meet me and I only told that drugs recovered from my car, he continued.

The former law minister said that on the day of hearing, he informed that security officers had confiscated 15kg heroin from his car.

May Allah deal with those who leveled fake allegations against me, he prayed.

Moreover Rana Sanaullah said he has faced brutal behavior in the jail and that no inquiry carried out at that time.

Rana Sanaullah called for his innocent and sought Almighty Allah’s guidance for those who fixed him in what he thinks a fake case.

Furthermore Rana Sanaullah released on bail by the Lahore High Court (LHC) in Narcotics case, last month.

The PML-N lawmaker released after furnishing two surety bonds worth Rs1 million each as directed by the LHC bench.

PML-N stalwart Rana Sanaullah arrested on the evening of July 1 by the ANF Lahore team from the Islamabad-Lahore motorway near the Sukheki area.

Moreover He was travelling from Faisalabad to Lahore.

According to ANF spokesperson, drugs were recovered from the PML-N leader’s car.
