LAHORE: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Muhammad Naveed Iqbal has been transferred to Rahim Yar Khan and made him Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
A notification issued the by the Registrar of Lahore High Court was approved the LHC chief Justice.
It is pertinent to mention here that the ATC Judge Muhammad Naveed Iqbal has been said that he was continuously granting bails to the accused of May 9 incident.
Earlier in the day, Judge Naveed on Friday approved bail for 42 individuals involved in the Jinnah House assault case.
The ATC Judge presided over the bail plea hearing today. The court granted bail to the 42 suspects accused of involvement in the attack on Jinnah House in Lahore, requiring each of them to provide a surety bond of Rs100,000.

The ATC is scheduled to make a decision regarding the bail requests of 18 other suspects on March 12.
Following the arrest of the former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder at the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on May 9 last year, violent clashes erupted throughout Pakistan.
Protests were staged in both remote areas and major cities, fueled by the agitation among party workers over their leader's arrest. Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad witnessed protests, leading to the deployment of armed forces to maintain law and order.
During one such protest by PTI workers, Jinnah House, housing army installations and the residence of the Corps Commander in Lahore, was targeted in the assault.
