Authorities enforce curfew in North Waziristan for two days

All movement banned from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on July 4 and 5.

A two-day curfew has been imposed in North Waziristan amid heightened security concerns, with authorities restricting all movement across the district as precautionary measures are strengthened.

According to reports, the restriction was announced through an official notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Samiullah Khan.

The curfew will remain in force from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (July 4 and July 5), during which all types of movement will be strictly prohibited.

The district administration said security arrangements have been further reinforced across the region to ensure law and order.

Residents have been advised to remain indoors and avoid unnecessary travel during curfew hours. Authorities have also urged the public to cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies for the effective implementation of the restrictions.
