The Metro Bus Service, which links Rawalpindi and Islamabad, has temporarily stopped its operations due to the ongoing Save Gaza Camp at D Chowk, Islamabad.
The service will now only run between Sadar Rawalpindi and Faiz Ahmed Faiz station, excluding the route to the Secretariat.
This change, initiated at the administration's request, backs the peaceful demonstration at D Chowk but causes inconvenience to regular commuters.
The Save Gaza Camp, erected in solidarity with Palestine, remains the main cause for the Metro Bus Service's suspension on Tuesday as well.
This cessation highlights the impact of public protests on public services and underscores the community's involvement in global humanitarian issues.
