The annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar is set to begin with devotion and excitement, and a public holiday has been declared by the district administration.
The Jamshoro deputy commissioner announced that Monday, February 17, will be a public holiday across the district.
As per the official notification, all government offices, educational institutions, and public sector organizations in Sehwan will be closed to ensure smooth arrangements for the Urs and to facilitate devotees.
This three-day Urs is a major spiritual event, attracting thousands of pilgrims from across the country. The celebrations include dhamal, qawwali, and various religious rituals at the shrine of the revered Sufi saint in Sehwan Sharif.
