In Islamabad, the pollen count decreased on Friday because of partly cloudy weather and light rain, although it's still high enough to be a problem for people with allergies.

The total pollen count was 4,936 per cubic meter of air, down from 5,529 the previous day. According to data from the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the H-8 sector had a pollen count of 4,936, while G-6 had 1,395, E-8 had 1,388, and F-10 had 647.

The most common pollen types in Islamabad are Paper Mulberry, Acacia, Eucalyptus, Pines, Grasses, Cannabis, Dandelion, and Alternaria. Paper Mulberry had the highest pollen count at 4,870, followed by Cannabis, Grasses, Alternaria, Pines, and Acacia, Eucalyptus, and Dandelion with lower counts.
