Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar, a brilliant Pakistani writer, former actor, producer, and public speaker, gained fame through his popular drama serial Boota from Toba Tek Singh. He also wrote and acted in the famous Pakistani drama serial Landa Bazar. Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar’s other notable dramas include Sadqay Tumhare, Bunty I Love You, Chand Pur Ka Chandu, Manjali, and Mere Paas Tum Ho. His hit scripts for films include Punjab Nahi Jaungi and London Nahi Jaunga. Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar is soon making a comeback on television with his brilliant script. His drama serial Gentleman will be televised on 12th May.

Lately, Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar appeared in a show along with other guests. In the show, he discussed love marriages and revealed the reason why he strongly advocates for them.

Talking about it, he said, “I prefer love marriages because they will eradicate the curse of dowry that has been spread in our society and it is only through love marriages that we can get rid of this curse. When two friends marry, they respect each other. There is no relationship in life without expectations, when you don’t demand dowry from your spouse, you will win her over, and she will forever regard you that you have saved her parents from a lot of problems and stress. She will be so loving towards you. And these houses are made for women, men don’t spend time at home, only a committed woman makes a home”
