Pakistan has made its way to Semi finals after beating Afghanistan with 6 wickets at the under-19 World Cup.

According to the details, Pakistan has qualified for the semi-finals and the green shirts will face traditional rival India in the semifinals.

Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat first in the quarter final of ICC under-19 World Cup.

Afghan team collapsed on 189 runs Pakistan met with the target in 41.1 overs with 6 wickets in  hand.

Earlier, Pakistan has made its way to quarter finals after beating Zimbabwe.

Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 38 runs at the under-19 World Cup in Potchefstroom, South Africa.

Pakistan successfully secured their qualification to Super League Quarterfinals.

Pakistan bat first and scored 294-9 in 50 overs. Muhammad Haris made the highest runs of 81.

Qasim Akram and Fahad Munir made half-centuries.

In the second innings, Zimbabwe players were all-out on 255 runs in 46.3 overs. Pakistani bowlers gave their best performance.

Wesley Madhevere and Emmanuel Bawa were the openers and they made 64 runs together. However, left-arm spinner Aamir Ali broke their partnership by taking the wicket of Bawa.

Bowler Qasim took Madhevere’s wicket and then Dion Myers’s wicket, Mohammad Irfan Khan caught him.

The right-arm medium-fast bowler Abbas Afridi changed the entire situation when he took wicket Milton Shumba and then Tadiwanashe Marumani on 35 overs.

fter that, Tahir and Abbas took three wickets. Aamir and Qasim then caught two wickets each.

On the other hand, Haris started batting at 140-4 in 33 overs. The batsman had made seven fours and three amazing sixes.

Openers were Haider Ali and Mohammad Shehzad. Both made 19 and 27 runs respectively. Captain Rohail Nazir failed to make runs. The overall performance of the team was good.

Note that Pakistan will now face Bangladesh in the last group on Friday.
