In a dramatic event in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district, an Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter conducting flood relief operations made an emergency landing in a waterlogged area. Locals surrounded the partially submerged chopper and caught the incident on video in the flood-affected Aurai block. The footage quickly went viral on social media platforms.
However, it wasn't just the helicopter landing that captured the internet's attention. A local YouTuber, who hurried to the scene to document the event, has now become the focus of social media praise for his spontaneous reporting. His video, with the submerged chopper in the background, has racked up lakhs of views and sparked numerous reactions online.
In the viral clip, young YouTuber Mukesh Joshi stands knee-deep in floodwaters as he describes the emergency landing. His energetic reporting style, coupled with the involvement of local villagers who assisted the IAF personnel, has won viewers' admiration. Joshi highlights how the quick-thinking locals helped guide the helicopter to a safer location, enabling the pilots to make a controlled landing despite the challenging conditions.

One of the local men interviewed in the video was quoted saying, “I would always risk my life to save our soldiers.”
The video, which has garnered over nine lakh views, sparked a flood of positive comments across social media platforms. Many praised the YouTuber for his dedication to delivering real-time updates from the scene.
PTI reported that the IAF chopper carried three personnel, including two pilots. Officials safely rescued all of them upon arrival. “The helicopter made an emergency landing in a waterlogged area in Aurai block. All the occupants were IAF personnel, and they were pulled out by locals before authorities reached the spot,” stated Rakesh Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police.
