The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has released its latest weather update, revealing that a depression (low-pressure system) has formed over the Arabian Sea.

Karachi is set to experience a hot and dry day, with the minimum temperature recorded at around 25°C. The maximum temperature is expected to range from 35°C to 37°C.

The city will see dry air, with humidity levels dropping to approximately 42 percent.

Regarding wind conditions, strong dry gusts are expected to sweep through Karachi, coming from the Northeast at speeds between 25 to 35 km/h.

The PMD has clarified that the offshore depression does not pose an immediate threat to Pakistan’s coastal areas. Additionally, there is no likelihood of rain in Karachi until at least the start of next week.
