KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced public holidays on April 05 and 06(Sunday & Monday), 2026, as only for Christian community on the eve of Easter.

A formal notification was issued stated that on the occasion of “Easter /Day after Easter” for all offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of government of Sindh.

Easter is one of the most important and widely celebrated festivals in Christianity. It symbolizes hope, renewal, and new beginnings, and is observed with deep religious devotion as well as joyful cultural traditions.
