Presiding over a meeting of the Traffic Engineering and Planning Agency (TEPA), SM Imran said that the traffic problems in Lahore are increasing day by day, the problems of accidents and traffic jams are increasing there are traffic problems that need to be addressed.
He stated that policymaking is necessary and that there are different concerns involving light and heavy cars, motorbikes, cyclists, and pedestrians that require immediate attention. Institutions should collaborate with full trust to solve the city’s massive traffic challenges.
The Traffic jam case hearing was held in which Lahore CTO Syed Mubeen promised improvements from onwards. Justice Farhan Irfan Khan expressed concerns about poor traffic control while giving remarks that the traffic situation is becoming adverse in Lahore day by day.
Lahore CTO assured the court of improving the flow of traffic and taking effective measures. He promised the court of civilizing the vehicles on roads. The CTO settled the matter within the court.
