Netizens are scratching their heads after seeing a video of a parrot fly away with a mobile phone.
The bird ultimately comes to rest on top of a car towards the end of the video. The video has sparked an outpouring of responses on social media since it was published online.
Many people want to attempt capturing a bird’s-eye view with a drone, but imagine having a bird do it for you.
On social media, an undated video of a parrot stealing a person’s phone and flying away with it has gone viral. The video, posted to Twitter by @fred035schultz, shows a human racing behind a parrot as it claws at the phone and flees.
Schultz said on Twitter, “Parrot takes the phone on a fantastic trip,” posting a 1.49-minute video of the bird flying over the neighborhood. People can also be heard crying out to the bird in the popular video, which has over 5 lakh views.
However, others questioned the authenticity of the clip. A user said, “It’s 100% animation. Pause and look at the bird wings. They look to cut out with harsh edges – there’s no real motion blur. Shadows on the ground and buildings are too sharp. The leaves on the trees don’t have real texture. It all looks flat. Movement is also extremely unrealistic.”
