PML-N creates fake videos, audios and posts to pressurise state institutions: Fawad

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Saturday claimed that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) “creates fake videos, audios and posts” to put pressure on the state institutions.

The minister appealed to the apex court to take notice of the conspiracies against honourable judiciary being hatched by some elements.

“PML-N creates fake videos, audios and posts” to pressurize the state institutions. The judiciary must take notice of this and should initiate cases about tampering with evidence,” said Chaudhry while addressing media in Islamabad.

“A comprehensive conspiracy against the judiciary and the armed forces of Pakistan was running to pressurize them only to get rid of cases against Nawaz Sharif. Journalists and media anchors were also used for this purpose.” 

“You [PML-N] made properties which were exposed in front of the Pakistanis through an international scam. Now you have only one answer to this. You have to give receipts explaining how you bought those properties,” said Chaudhry.

“Instead of giving the answers,” the minister continued, “the Nawaz-league had been distracting the masses. However, this will not benefit you [PML-N].” 

“PML-N is the only political party in the country which had won an election through rigging, and this has been established by the Supreme Court of Pakistan,” alleged Chaudhry.

He said the PML-N stole elections from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in 1990 and the mandate from Benazir Bhutto Shaheed.

“PTI [Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf] is more active for the elections, and PPP has made an alliance with the same party which did this to them in the past,” said Chaudhry. 

‘Economic difficulties to ease out soon’

Chaudhry remained confident that Pakistan’s economic difficulties would also ease out soon as petrol prices had come down in the international market. 

“It takes two months to see the effect of this price change trickle down to countries. If oil prices continue to go down, it will have a positive effect,” claimed the PTI leader.

He also thanked Saudi Arabia for again helping Pakistan with $3billion and said that “the IMF agreement is also in final stages and Pakistan will soon see an economic stability.”

Chaudhry claimed the prices of essential items were declining in the country due to effective policy and steps of the government.
