Alyssa Clark is from Bennington, Vermont. She said she was in Italy in March when she learned that the summer marathon she was preparing for, had been cancelled due to covid 19. Alyssa said she decided to run a marathon every day.
In the beginning, she used to run on the treadmill. Soon after the lockdown was over, she started running outside.
Alyssa added that she initially decided to run the marathon for only 15 days. Soon she will be running these races. Now she plans to run 100 marathons in 100 days. She has completed 87 marathons in 87 days.
Alyssa broke the world record of completing marathons every day by running in the 61st marathon on May 30, but the rules have not been announced.
Alyssa completed her 87th marathon on Thursday. She also announced that she would complete her 100th marathon, soon.
