Some of the world’s biggest musicians joined together for a charity event to raise money for Ukrainian refugees.

However, it was violinist Nicola Benedetti’s performance, which was blended with a pre-recorded performance by a virtual orchestra, that shifted everything online in the end.

Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, and Emeli Sande, as well as Snow Patrol, were among the performers playing at the Concert For Ukraine in Birmingham on Tuesday.

According to BBC News, a one-of-a-kind event organised by ITV, Livewire Pictures, and the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), with help from Classic FM, raised £12.2 million for the humanitarian catastrophe.

Illia Bondarenko began the amazing performance by playing his instruments while sheltering in a bomb bunker in Kyiv. The video then zoomed out to show more violinists from his nation who had crossed the border, before expanding to show other musicians from across the world.

Many individuals were left teary-eyed online after seeing the piece, with many believing it gave much-needed perspective.
