It’s not uncommon for individuals to pray to God for blessings before undertaking anything significant or when they’re worried. However, a guy was captured on camera stroking an idol’s feet before taking the temple’s contribution box in a particular instance!
The guy is seen entering a temple in Thane, Maharashtra, and carefully inspecting his surroundings in CCTV footage that has gone viral.
He then pretends to snap photographs before entering the temple to ask for blessings from the Hanuman deity. However, he quickly picks up the wooden box near the podium and flees the scene.

According to local sources, the theft was reported by a temple priest, who indicated in his complaint that it happened between 8 and 9.30 p.m. on Tuesday while he was out doing some work.
When he returned, he saw that the contribution box had been taken.
He told the local police that the package contained roughly Rs 1,000 in cash. When the investigating police looked through the surveillance footage, they discovered the video.
The offender was apprehended by the Naupada Police on Saturday, and the stolen money was recovered from him.
