Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its latest electric vehicle, the Xiaomi YU7 SUV, in 2025. This advanced SUV builds on the success of Xiaomi’s SU7 sedan and is designed to rival industry leaders like Tesla’s Model Y.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun emphasized that the YU7 SUV is undergoing rigorous testing to ensure superior quality. The SUV will be manufactured at Xiaomi EV’s factory in Yizhuang, Beijing, underscoring the company’s dedication to innovation and reliability.

Notably, the YU7 has passed a significant milestone by being included in China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) catalogue. This achievement reflects Xiaomi’s efforts to gather public feedback and secure final regulatory approval.
