Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is building excitement for its upcoming SU7 Ultra by revealing a striking new Cosmic Silver color option. This announcement comes just before the car’s official market debut on February 27th.

The Cosmic Silver finish gives the SU7 Ultra a sleek, modern appeal. It features golden emblems and yellow brake calipers, creating a bold contrast.

The car also includes black rims and a carbon fiber roof, enhancing its sporty and premium look. So far, Xiaomi has showcased two color options—bright yellow and silver—but hints at a total of five choices for the Ultra. Meanwhile, the standard SU7 will come in ten colors, including a newly introduced Brilliant Magenta shade.

Extreme Performance & Cutting-Edge Engineering

Beyond its eye-catching aesthetics, the SU7 Ultra is a powerhouse. This electric sedan features three electric motors, delivering a staggering 1,526 horsepower (1,138 kW).

This results in lightning-fast acceleration, reaching 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds. The car boasts a top speed of 350 km/h, making it one of the fastest electric sedans on the market.

At the heart of this performance is a 93.7 kWh CATL Qilin 2.0 battery, capable of discharging 1,330 kW of power. The largest carbon ceramic brake discs ever fitted to a sports car ensure superior braking performance.

The SU7 Ultra rides on R21 wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero 5 tires and features a 1560 mm rear spoiler, generating 285 kg of downforce for enhanced aerodynamics. The car measures 5115 mm (length), 1970 mm (width), and 1465 mm (height), with a 3000 mm wheelbase.

Early Launch & Strong Market Demand

Xiaomi started taking pre-orders for the SU7 Ultra on October 29th, 2024, and demand skyrocketed, with 3,680 orders placed within just 10 minutes. Originally planned for March 2025, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirmed an earlier release date of February 27th. Xiaomi aims to sell 10,000 units of this high-performance EV in 2025.
