Nepotism has become a new problem in India after Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. Sushant breathed his last on June 14, this took a heavy toll on film-maker Karan Johar and Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s Instagram following.

Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt are both children of famous film-makers, Yash Johar and Mahesh Bhatt. Many of Sushant’s fans thing his alleged suicide as Sushant’s reaction to a concerted attempt by the ‘insider lobby’ of Bollywood including Karan Johar to outcast the actor.

Many allegations were made on social media about big Bollywood production houses not working with the actor and several clips were shared from Karan’s show Koffee with Karan, in which star kids Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor even Karan himself was seen making fun of Sushant.

Johar has been unfollowed by more than 5 lakh users on Instagram, where his following has shrunk to 1.05 crore (10.5 million) from 1.11 crore (11 million).

Bhatt has been unfollowed by 10 lakh users since Sunday, with her Instagram follower list now down to 4.74 crores (47.4 million) from 4.88 crores (48.8 million).
