Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut has once again talked about nepotism. She questioned why names such as Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, and Mahesh Bhatt have not been interrogated by the police in Sushant’s case.
In an interview with Republic TV, Kangna inquired about the Mumbai Police on Sushant Singh Rajpoot’s suicide case.
She quoted big names of Bollywood, including Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt, and a film critic Rajeev Masand.
She said, “I have said no to Bhansali’s Padmaavat but he hasn’t done anything vengeful. He doesn’t gang up on anyone but he’s being summoned. Shekhar Kapur, a God-like figure in the industry is being summoned.”
“Why is Mumbai Police not summoning — Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar, Rajeev Masand? These 4 people. Why, because they are powerful? With this interview, I only have things to lose.”
On the other hand, Queen actress Kangna mentioned that she will return her Padma Shri award if she fails to testify in this regard.
“I will return my Padma Shri award if I can’t testify what I had said in this regard.”
Earlier, Kangna’s team lashes Taapsee Pannu for supporting the Bollywood industry’s “movie mafia”.
A twitter user had shared screenshots of news articles and mentioned that Pannu had supported star kids working in the film industry. Pannu had responded to the tweet after which Kangna’s team came forward to bash her.
