Sushant Singh Suicide Case: Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur summoned by Indian police

In the latest development in Sushant Singh Rajput Case, the Indian police has summoned film maker Shekhar Kapur in person, to disclose some more details.

According to the details, Shekhar Kapur sent his e statement to Indian police since out of the city; in which he revealed that  that Sushant was devastated after their film ‘Pani’ got shelved in 2015. The late actor was preparing hard for his role and the film set to be made on a budget of Rs 150 crore. However, the report revealed that Yash Raj Films backed out from the film, citing creative differences, after having spent Rs 5 crore on the project.”

A senior office confirmed this development and said, “We have summoned him to come and record his statement based on his tweet, which he posted a day after the actor’s death. He has sent some details via email, which we are considering but we need more clarity and a detailed statement. It will recorded after he returns to the city.”

It may be recalled that the 34-year-old actor Sushant Singh Rajput found dead on June 14 at his Bandra apartment.

Moreover, the final autopsy report of the ‘Chhichhore’ actor confirmed that he died of asphyxia due to hanging. Post that the viscera report came out to be negative, ruling out the presence of any suspicious chemicals or poison.

Afterwards, police sent the cloth, allegedly used by him to hang himself, to a forensic lab to analysis the tensile strength to determine whether it can bear the weight similar to that of the actor or not.
