Bollywood’s famed actress Deepika Padukone, who is currently being interrogated by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), was asked not to play the ‘emotional card’ during her interrogation.
According to reports, Deepika actress had cried thrice during her questioning in the drugs case after which, the agency told her to not play the “emotional card.”
The Chhapaak actress has admitted to being part of a WhatsApp group about drugs but has maintained her silence on consuming them.
NCB revealed on Friday that all four actors who were named in the case, Deepika, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh have denied substance abuse.
Sara, Shraddha, and Rakul were summoned by the NBC after Rhea Chakraborty reportedly mentioned them during an interrogation.
Earlier this month, the NCB had arrested Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik in the ongoing investigation into the drug angle in Shushant Singh Rajput’s death.

According to reports, Showik admitted to buying drugs for Shushant while he also said that he used to procure it at the behest of Rhea.
Earlier, Deepika Padukone and her manager Karishma Prakash had confessed to drug chats.
Deepika Padukone and her manager had recorded their statements to Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the alleged Bollywood drug nexus case.
According to media reports, Deepika is being interrogated about the 2017 drug conversation, besides alleged payments that she made for them.
