As Bollywood’s big names are being involved in the ongoing drugs controversy, actress Dia Mirza too has found herself getting dragged into the matter.

Refusing the claims, Dia Mirza took to her Instagram handle and spoke her heart out reagarding claims of consuming drugs.

She wrote: “I would like to strongly refute and categorically deny this news as being false, baseless and with mala fide intentions. Such frivolous reporting has a direct impact on my reputation being besmirched and is causing damage to my career which I have painstakingly built with years of hard work.”

“I have never procured or consumed any narcotic or contraband substances of any form in my life. I intend to pursue the full extent of legal remedies available to me as a law abiding citizen of India. Thanks to my supporters for standing by me,” Dia added.

However, it was reported that Dia Mirza being called for questioning in the drug abuse case by Narcotics Control Bureau.

On the other hand, Deepika Padukone was allegedly named in the drugs case and was summoned by the NCB team.

According to sources, Deepika called her legal team and she will leave Goa soon. After her name came in drug chats, Deepika Padukone did not say a word over the controversy. She is in Goa for a shoot, sources said.
