As Bollywood’s big names are being involved in the ongoing drug controversy, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor have officially been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
The NCB is recently cracking down on Bollywood’s drug mafia and has ordered actresses Deepika, Sara, Shraddha, and Raku Preet to appear in the drug nexus case.
While Deepika Padukone is all set to appear on Friday, September 25, Sara and Shraddha will appear the following day i.e. Saturday, September 26.
According to the recent update, Sara, who was in Goa until now, has left for Mumbai after being summoned by NCB.
The actress was spotted at the Goa airport with her team today.
To note, the Pataudi princess is supposed to appear before the agency on September 26 (Saturday).
Sara, Shraddha, and Rakul were summoned by the NBC after Rhea Chakraborty reportedly mentioned them during an interrogation.
Earlier, iconic actress Dia Mirza too had found herself getting dragged into the drugs nexus case.
Refusing the claims, Dia Mirza took to her Instagram handle and spoke her heart out regarding claims of consuming drugs.
She wrote: “I would like to strongly refute and categorically deny this news as being false, baseless, and with mala fide intentions. Such frivolous reporting has a direct impact on my reputation being besmirched and is causing damage to my career which I have painstakingly built with years of hard work.”
“I have never procured or consumed any narcotics or contraband substances of any form in my life. I intend to pursue the full extent of legal remedies available to me as a law-abiding citizen of India. Thanks to my supporters for standing by me,” Dia added.
