A complaint alleging rape charges has been registered against actor Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mahaakshay alias Mimoh. 

According to details, the Oshiwara Police Station has registered the complaints against the accused. Senior Police Inspector Dayanand H Bangar told IANS, “We have lodged the victim’s complaint and are investigating the matter before proceeding further.”

Police have booked Mimoh for rape, cheating, criminal intimidation, causing hurt and common intention.

The 38-year-old victim has also mentioned names of Mimoh’s mother (Mithun’s wife) and former actress Yogeeta Bali as accused.

As per the details, Mimoh had allegedly called the victim to his new flat in Adarsh Nagar where he allegedly had forced her to be in a physical relationship. He has allegedly served her a soft drink with a sedative. The victim further said that she became pregnant and Mimoh pressurized her to abort it. But he gave her some abortion pills when she refused. The victim stated that she had an affair with Mimoh in 2015 and he had reportedly vowed to marry her but he did not marry.

The victim further said that the accused’s mother had threatened her when she was going to file a complaint. 

Police informed the local news sources that the woman had earlier filed a complaint before a court in Delhi in 2018. They court ruled the investigation should be conducted by Mumbai police as the alleged offense had happened in its jurisdiction.
