The Bollywood diva Sri Devi was an actress with whom great actors wanted to work, but did you know that Aamir Khan, popularly known as Mr Perfectionist, was with Sri Devi at the beginning of his career? Refused to work with her.

Sridevi, the iconic actress who died far too young, would have turned 58 this year. Sridevi is widely regarded as ‘India’s first female superstar,’ owing to her diverse body of work and popularity across a variety of film industries and languages; she did not only carry a film on her own without the help of a popular leading man, but many top male stars of the 1980s and 1990s would also moan and groan.

You may also be surprised to hear this but it is absolutely true, according to Indian media, Aamir Khan had refused to work with Sri Devi saying that she looks older than me.

Aamir Khan became popular overnight after the success of his debut film ‘Qiyamat Se Qiyamat Tak’. Every filmmaker wanted to appear in films with the super hit actress Sri Devi.

However, Aamir Khan had turned down all offers, saying that people would not like my pairing with Sri Devi because I look younger than her.
