In the coming year, Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia appear to be making things official. As they celebrated the New Year in Goa, the stars could be seen cuddling up to one another. Vijay was sporting green shorts and a white top, while Tamannaah was dressed in a short, dazzling pink suit.
The couple can be seen cuddling up to one another as 2023 is ushered in in a video that was first posted on Instagram by the Goan restaurant Purple Martini. In the footage, it appears that they are kissing and hugging. As fireworks explode in the sky above, the rest of the crowd can be seen cheering and enjoying themselves. On their social media accounts, Vijay and Tamannaah have not yet posted any photos of one another.

Some admirers were astonished by the new couple’s relationship. A few Reddit users expressed their happiness for the newlyweds. A user posted, “I’m rooting for this love tale right now. I’m pulling for you, Tamannaah!” One person asserted that “Vijay Verma is courting a goddess.” Another fan said, “Wow they’re pretty upfront, guess they don’t aim to keep their relationship concealed,” while others referred to Vijay as “fortunate.”

Tamannaah debuted as an actress in Chand Sa Roshan Chehra (2005), a film she co-starred in alongside Samir Aftab. Since then, she has worked in the Telugu and Tamil cinema industries. She is most known for playing the warrior Avantika in the Baahubali movie directed by SS Rajamouli. She appeared in several Telugu and Hindi movies in 2022, including Gurthunda Seethakalam, Plan A, Plan B, Babli Bouncer, Ghani, and F3: Fun and Frustration. She will appear in Bole Chudiyan this year alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

2012 saw the release of Chittagong, Vijay’s first feature film after graduating from the Film and Television Institute of India. His contributions to the movies Pink, Monsoon Shootout, Manto, Gully Boy, and the collection Ghost Stories are also well known. He made appearances in the movies Hurdang and Darlings in 2022, winning praise for his portrayal of an abusive spouse in the latter. The Devotion of Suspect X, a film by Sujoy Ghosh starring Kareena Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat, will include Vijay next.
