Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI ) President said China transformed itself into an economic giant.
President Irfan Sheikh addressed in Lahore on Wednesday.
LCCI President said Chinese technological advancement can help Pakistan to flourish its economy.
He said Pakistan is fertile and productive, although lack in modern technologies.
LCCI Vice President Mian Zahid Jawaid Ahmad, and other dignitaries were also present in the event.
The LCCI President said that China’s unbelievable development in industrial & agriculture sectors has mesmerized the world.
He said that China is already playing a vital role to make Pakistan prosperous.
Transfer of technology would ensure speedy growth for Pakistan’s industrial and agriculture sectors.
He said that the government to government collaboration well supported by the frequent interaction between private sectors representatives of Pakistan and China are presently at their best.
The bilateral trade volume between Pakistan and China is above 16 billion dollars ,while China is the highest contributor to the net foreign direct investment in Pakistan.
Regular exchanges of business delegations are spreading positive indicators to the whole world.
There are countless opportunities for the Chinese investors to invest in vibrant sectors of engineering, agriculture machinery etc.
It is important that there should be win-win situation for all the stakeholders.
“It is the right time to invest in Pakistan”, President Irfan Iqbal Sheikh said.
Despite having skills, labour in Pakistan is cheap as compare to China, therefore, Chinese investors should avail this opportunity.
President China Pakistan Economic & Trade Council Chen Jianlu also hoped that relations would further stronger in days to come.
He was also optimistic that visit of the delegation would help Chinese businessmen to find new partners in Pakistan.
Chairman China Pakistan Economic & Trade Council Shafiq-ur-Rehman gave a detailed introduction of the association and its role in uplifting Pak-China trade and economic ties.
