 The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary for change prices of petroleum products to the Petroleum Division for Januray 2020,  here on Monday.

According to the details, An increase of two rupees 81 paisas per litre in petrol price, an increase of Two Rupees 25 paisas per litre in high speed diesel price,  increase of Rs 2.08 per litre in light speed diesel and increase of Rs. 3.10 paisas in kerosene oil price, have been suggested by OGRA  in the summary.

Earlier in starting of this month, the government announced reduction in petroleum prices for the month of December to provide relief to people.

The price of High Speed Diesel has been decreased by two point four rupees a litre and new price of the product would be 125.01 rupees.

Similarly the price of MS petrol has also been cut by 25 Paisas per liter and the price of Kerosene oil by 83 Paisas.

Light Diesel Oil price has been reduced by 2.9 rupees per liter.

According to the details, the federal government has reduced the price of petrol by 25 paisas per litre, the Petroleum Division announced.

It reduced the price of light diesel oil by Rs2.90 per litre, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division.

Meanwhile, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh in a tweet has said the decrease in prices of petroleum products will help in bringing down cost of doing business and ease the inflationary pressure on public.
