At the moment the KSE-100 Index is being traded at 33,848.93 points, a decline of 2,211.95 points and a percentage drop of 6.13%. The PSX triggered the market halt at 10:13 am, due to 5% drop in KSE-30 Index and suspended the activity for 45 minutes.

The BR100 Index was being traded at 3,468.30 points, a decline of 247.59 points and a percentage drop of 6.66%.

The drop comes after 18 new coronavirus cases reported in Sindh, including 13 from Sukkur were recorded on Sunday alone, pushing the total number of infected people to 35 across the province.

The first case of coronavirus was also confirmed in Lahore.

On Monday 50 more confirmed cases of the coronavirus so far as the total number of cases reaches more than 90.
