It is pertinent to mention here that Prime Minister Imran Khan will be visiting Kabul on Thursday to meet Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.

According to the details, Pakistan’s envoy to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmed Khan confirmed on his Twitter handle, that:

“Prime Minister Imran Khan visiting Kabul tomorrow for meeting Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to discuss strengthening of bilateral ties ⁦.”

This is the first visit by PM Imran to Kabul since he assumed office in August 2018. The visit comes at a crucial juncture as intra-Afghan talks are making little progress with continued violence in Afghanistan making the process further complicated.
