Petrol, Diesel Price To Remain Unchanged For The Month Of March

The price of petrol for the month of March will remain constant as announced by the government here on Monday.

The price of kerosene oil and light diesel has been raised, announces Federal Minister for Finance, Abdul Hafeez Sheikh.

Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said that the price of kerosene oil has been risen by Rs3.42 per litre and the new price for this month will be Rs83.61 per litre.

Furthermore, light diesel oil’s cost has been increased by Rs2.19 per litre and after the rise, the new price will be Rs81.42 per litre, the finance minister said.

However, the price of both petrol and diesel will remain unchanged at Rs111.90 per litre and Rs116.8 per litre, respectively.

According to the finance minister, the new prices for petroleum products announced by the government will come into effect from Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
