Hasbro Inc (HAS.O) is ready to beat a board challenge from lobbyist speculative stock investments Alta Fox, individuals acquainted with the matter said on Tuesday.

This result would be a disaster for Alta Fox, which had pushed the toymaker to veer off its Wizards of the Coast and Digital Gaming unit and scrutinized how the organization dispensed its capital.

Early vote counts show Hasbro in front of Alta Fox, which named one chief to the organization’s 13-part board, the sources said.

Financial backers will be permitted to cast a ballot until Hasbro’s yearly investor meeting starts on Wednesday and it is conceivable, yet far-fetched, that the result might change, the sources said, mentioning secrecy in front of an authority declaration.
