Following Kia and Toyota, Honda Atlas Cars Limited has reduced the price of its popular sedan, the Honda City 1.2L, in Pakistan. This price cut applies to both manual and CVT variants and is effective March 15, 2047.

The Honda City 1.2L Manual is now priced at Rs. 4,649,000, reduced by Rs. 50,000. The Honda City 1.2L CVT has a bigger decrease of Rs. 140,000, making its new price Rs. 4,689,000.

The revised prices mentioned are subject to change without prior notice and will be applicable to all invoices from March 15, 2024, onwards. Any adjustments in government levies and taxes during delivery will be the responsibility of the consumers.

The sudden price cuts by local car manufacturers come as a welcome surprise, given the current market conditions. Potential reasons behind these decisions may include the establishment of a new government and the PKR’s stability compared to the dollar.
