National Savings, also known as Qaumai Bachat Bank, has uplifted the profit rates for Behbood Savings Certificates, initially introduced in 2003 to aid widows and the elderly.

These certificates offer monthly profits at reasonable rates, serving as a financial lifeline for those facing hardships.

Increase in Profit Rates

The government has raised the profit rates for Behbood Certificates for the fourth consecutive time, now standing at 15.60% effective from March 19, 2024.

Originally catering to widows and the elderly, the scheme was extended in 2004 to include disabled individuals and special minors through their guardians.
