Malaysia attracts a significant number of tourists annually due to its vibrant cities, beaches, lush rainforests, and historic landmarks.
Many people from around the world, including Pakistan, travel to Malaysia each year to enjoy quality time.
Pakistani nationals are required to obtain a visit visa before traveling to Malaysia for tourism. They are eligible to apply for an electronic visa.
The Malaysia eVisa for Pakistanis is valid for six months from the date of approval.
The fee for a Malaysia tourist eVisa is 20 Malaysian Ringgit. As of August 2024, one Ringgit equals Rs62.15, making the electronic single-entry visa cost Rs1,243.
Applicants must also pay a visa processing fee of 105 Ringgit, in addition to service charges. The eVisa processing fee can be paid with a valid debit or credit card.
Applicants can visit the official website of the Immigration Department of Malaysia. Click the “I am New Apply” button and submit details such as name, nationality, passport number, address, etc.
Malaysia eVisa applications from Pakistan are processed online and are usually returned within one to three business days.
Once the eVisa is issued, Pakistani travelers to Malaysia can spend up to 30 days in the country within the six-month validity period.
